how to read sheet music

A crucial first step in learning how to read music is to be able to remember which lines and spaces refer to which notes.

The easiest way to do this is through a series of rhymes.

These rhymes have been around for absolutely ages, but they really are a very quick way to learn the notes.

For the Treble Clef lines, the rhyme is “Every Good Boy Deserves Food”
